“ Out having breakfast with my mom, we decided to come out a few days early to celebrate Mother’s Day to beat the crowd. I came across Flora and was excited to see and try this new location, as we arrived we were the first ones the decor and placement of the restaurant is beautiful. There is outdoor dining as well its very bright and colorful with flowers nice elegant touch. Service was excellent and loved how the server shared her favorite dishes and cocktails, made it so much easier to order. We ordered the iced whip dalgona coffee and a matcha expresso martini. The dalgona coffee was creamy and strong just the way I love coffee, matcha I highly recommend for matcha lovers it was so refreshing, nicely balanced you can actually taste the expresso and matcha. Dishes were nicely prepared, ordered steak and eggs with the berry french toast, steak was nicely cooked juicy with plenty of flavor the arugula gave it a nice texture with the potato. The French toast bread was so thick and fluffy happy it didn’t get soggy since it was sitting there since we started with the steak first. The berries combined with the sauce was amazing and wasn’t too sweet berries were perfect and not too bitter. Overall everything was perfect and I highly recommend for any occasion ”

I had the shakshuka, which was rich and flavorful, while my friend went with the classic American breakfast—both were perfection. Their menu has a great variety ranging from your classic American breakfast, to more sophisticated dishes like smoked salmon benedict. Our favorite was the Berry French Toast that had a unique twist - Brie cheese! It paired so well with the berry compote and is a must-try. Regardless of what you choose, you are sure to enjoy! “ Flora in North Park is such a cute and Insta-worthy spot! Bonus: it’s family owned!! I stopped by for brunch, and everything was perfect. The service was quick and amazing—Ashley was super attentive. My food came out fast, and both the lavender cappuccino and fried chicken and waffles were delicious. The flavors were on point, and the whole vibe of the place made it an even better experience. Definitely a must-visit for great food and a beautiful atmosphere! ”

“ What a gorgeous spot! I came in for a private company lunch and was blown away by the ambiance—absolutely beautiful, airy, and perfect for brunch or a girls’ day out. Every corner of the restaurant felt curated and cozy, with such an inviting vibe. The food? Delicious and picture-perfect. I had the smoked salmon croissant eggs Benedict—so flavorful and beautifully plated. My mom had the smoked salmon toast, and we were both in love with our dishes. I also tried the pistachio cappuccino, and it was made perfectly—creamy, smooth, and just the right touch of sweetness. Our server, Salvador, was incredible—friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in San Diego—especially to try the sweet treats. ”
